As we have seen the current US Tax Allocation System is a Pyramid Scheme that funnels the
vast tax wealth of the American people to fewer & fewer people at the very top of the power pyramid, to a national government
that is a mostly owned subsidiary of the military industrial complex, a private banking cartel and the monopolies it finances.

We've seen how the national government has gone rogue, building a global empire that benefits bankers and the war machine only. This must change.
The Current Tax Allocation System (2018)
- 64% of all your taxes go to the national government
- 21% to your state
- 9% to your county
- and a pittance of 6% to the government closest to you, your city government.

This is truly a tax allocation system that extracts vast sums from the American people and redistributes trillions of dollars to a very few in a government far removed from, and increasingly unaccountable to you.
This is a Taxation System designed to put the fate of the entire nation into the hands of a very few politicians (538 people out of 333 million), who can be easily controlled by
the moneyed interests & bankers.

If we are to succeed at addressing all our global & local problems, the current Tax Allocation System must be dramatically Restructured.

The 10-20-30-40 Plan
- 10% of all our taxes to the government furthest removed from us, our national government.
- 20% to the States
- 30% to your county
- 40% to the government closest to you, your city government.
This new Tax Allocation System meets all the Principles we enumerated on the Home page of this website:
- The people are Sovereign and can alter or abolish governments not suitable to their life, liberty, or happiness.
- Governments govern best which are closest to the people.
- That political power be apportioned inverse to the distance that government resides from the people they represent.
- And that money is political power. And that therefore, taxes are the primary source of all political power.

With local public banks , and a Tax Reallocation, local democracy will flourish.

What can be done?
The Case for Local Empowerment with Local Public Banks
When it is finally understood by the majority of the people that money should be the servant of them, and not their masters,
the people will be liberated from perpetual debt-bondage to a private international banking cartel.
Money will become the servant of humanity as Lincoln promised, and we'd be free from the tyranny of private banking debt.

If we the people are to be a self-governing people, then government must be closest to us & empowered more than govt further removed. And money is political power as we've seen.
Then it stands to reason that money -- in the form of taxes paid to governments (city, county, state, and especially national) should be distributed more substantially to local government.
A 10-20-30-40 Plan will achieve these ends.
And it is only one of many possible solutions.
But any credible solution will always follow the principle that governments closest to us should be empowered more (in taxes) than govts further removed
...respecting human rights and the rights of all life to exist and flourish.
